Why the Apple MP3 (errr.. i mean AAC) empire will crumble to the pow Lets face it Mr. Jobs, competition is a good thing... something you are not that unfamiliar with as your empire continues to grow. But Burn Lounge is flying under the radar so fast it is destined to take a big mouth watering bite out of the Apple monopoly. And oh, what a mouth watering bite it is. 1.1 billion downloads is an awful lot... and in fact it accounts for 85% of all the legal music downloads out there- but the business model of handing decisions back to the consumer will ultimately lead to a more democratic choice based system for consumers that will directly result in more sales for burn lounge and its members, and less for Apple. Add to this the existence of Microsofts / I mean MTV's MP3 Download Arsenal entitled URGE- Will Apple feel the pain? Let's contemplate this for a minute. They (and let's all do the research on who "they" is) say that less then 10% of all the people who own computers are downloading music. Think about this. The market is 10x bigger then it is right now. So, in essence this leaves 90% of the market for any other one company to come in and gobble up market share. Capturing 11% would definitley push Burn Lounge past Apple's share with a bit to spare. Piggyback the New Urge service onto this and Apple could lose a huge chunk. Burnlounge has the model correct - Urge has the young MTV crowd. The Burn Lounge system is a multilevel marketing system. Facts show us that this business model creates wealth by groups of people helping each other succeed. So lets add this up: the people choose the music they want to sell, groups of people help each other, and anyone out there with a few bucks can sign up and then there is Urg -e Who-s open system will help all the other mp3 manufacturers out there. Power to the People! Look out Apple , here comes two real competitors. For free information sign up at http://www.burn76.com .
